Stuy Town Residents Ask Court To Block All Evictions

Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village residents say hundreds of residents are unfairly facing eviction.

A Manhattan appeals court ruled last week that owner Tishman Speyer cannot deregulate apartments while also receiving a specialized tax break for owning rent regulated apartments.
