Teen Charged with Allegedly Biting Judge During Break-in Jailed for Leaving Group Home

A 15-year-old girl – charged in a bizarre Stuyvesant Town burglary during which she allegedly bit a Manhattan judge — burst into tears as another judge threw her in jail today for going AWOL from her group home.

“She can’t just do what she wants,” Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Eduardo Padro told a handcuffed Clarissa Burgess, as she turned tearfully to her mom and sister in the audience and was taken into custody.

Burgess remains on the hook for the oddball alleged break-in, during which she allegedly bit the hand of prominent Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Gregory Carro after stealing his laptop.

Carro, who lives at Stuy Town, had left his apartment door ajar to do laundry, and returned to find his laptop missing. The intrepid judge, who presided over the explosive “Rape Cops” case in May, gave chase and grabbed Burgess who allegedly bit him on the hand.
